La Crosse to play today for WIAC baseball title (Baseball/Softball roundup)

UW-La Crosse rolled to a 12-3 win over top-seeded UW-Whitewater and will play in today’s (Saturday) 3pm WIAC Championship game.  The Eagles will face the winner of a noon matchup between the host Warhawks and UW-Stevens Point.

Midwest Conference

St. Norbert College is in the 1pm Championship game in Ripon today.  The Green Knights will play the winner of the 10am matchup between Ripon and Grinnell.

Big Ten Softball

The Wisconsin Badgers beat Northwestern 5-4 in the Big Ten women’s softball quarterfinals in Evanston, Illinois on Friday.  The Badgers move into today’s 5pm semifinal matchup against top-seeded Michigan.

Horizon League Softball

UW-Green Bay rolled to a 9-1 win over Valparaiso on Friday, advancing to the Horizon League championship game at noon today.  They’ll face the Crusaders again for the Championship.
