Panthers advance in Horizon League Tournament

UW-Milwaukee rolled to a 12-4 win over Illinois-Chicago in the Horizon League baseball tournament on Thursday night at Kapco Park in Mequon.

The bottom three hitters in the Panthers lineup accounted for 7 runs, 7 hits and 4 rbis in Milwaukee’s 15-hit attack.

The fourth-seeded Panthers (21-27) will face Youngstown State at 7pm tonight.

Whitewater Softball

UW-Whitewater knocked off Rochester, New York 8-7, in the first game of the NCAA Division 3 Softball World Series in Tyler, Texas.

The Warhawks (38-11) scored six runs in the fifth inning.  Whitewater faces Salisbury (40-3) at 4pm this afternoon.
