Pilot injured in plane crash near Crivitz

A Lena, Wisconsin pilot is hospitalized after crashing his airplane near Crivitz Wednesday morning.

66-year-old Daniel McGraw was alone in the plane when it went down after encountering engine problems. He was transported to the Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette with undisclosed injuries.

Marinette County Sheriff’s deputies say he was both conscious and alert when they found him.

McGraw was travelling between Oconto and Iron Mountain, Michigan when his plane went down.
