May 2, 2014 By WRN Contributor

A Beloit man is arrested in Racine in connection with the homicde of 20-year-old Raymond Holloway. Beloit Police responded to reports of shots fired last Friday in the area of Eighth and Highland last Friday, and found Holloway suffering from gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Beloit Police say they’ve developed two suspects in connection to Holloway’s homicide. One of them, 20-year-old Jajuan Logan of Beloit was taken into custody by the Racine Police Department Wednesday, and a second suspect, 31-year-old Angelo Young of Beloit is still on the loose.

Holloway’s murder was the second report of homicide that Beloit Police responded to last Friday. Shortly before midnight officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Newark Road in the town of Beloit where 36-year-old Edward Damont Haley of Beloit was found dead of an apparent gun shot wound.

Police say they don’t beleive that the two homicides are related. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Young is urged to contact law enforcement.
