WIAA studying competitive balance issue

May 22, 2014 By Bill Scott

The WIAA announced the 21 members of the Ad Hoc Competition Committee that will study competitive balance among the state’s public and private schools.

The group is tasked with determining if any changes need to be made to the WIAA’s philosophy of using school enrollment for divisional placement in post season competition.

The WIAA would like to see any recommendations for change, if any, come by December 1st.

The 21 members were selected from a list of 103 individuals who volunteered for the committee.
