Wausau man killed in crash in North Dakota

June 4, 2014 By WRN Contributor

A Wausau man is dead, following a single vehicle rollover crash Monday in North Dakota.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 58-year-old Timothy Stark crashed at about 3:00 a.m. on Highway 32, about ten miles south of Interstate 94 near Fingal, North Dakota. Officers say Stark’s 2005 Ford Expedition was northbound entering a curve. Stark crossed the southbound lane and partially drove onto the shoulder, overcorrected to the right, and slid sideways into the east ditch where the vehicle rolled over.

Stark was taken to Mercy Hospital in Valley City, North Dakota, where he was pronounced dead.

Officers say Stark was not wearing a seatbelt. The crash remains under investigation.
