Draxler in today’s finals at IAAF Junior Worlds

Former Wrightstown Track & Field standout Bonnie Draxler cleared 13 feet, 4 inches in the pole vault on Tuesday and will compete in today’s finals  in the IAAF Junior World Championships at Eugene, Oregon.

Draxler is one of 14 female competitors that advanced to the finals.  She is a four-time WIAA Division 2 state champion in the pole vault in Wisconsin and holds the state’s record of 13 feet, 11 1/4 inches in the event.

Draxler was also named to the All USA Today girls’ track and field team.

Draxler will be attending college at San Diego State in the fall.
