Fatal hit and run near New London

July 14, 2014 By WRN Contributor

Waupaca County authorities are investigating a hit and run death over the weekend. Sheriff’s officials say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in the Town of Lebanon early Saturday morning. The person killed has been identified as 18-year-old Tyler L. Court of New London. It happened just after 2:30 in the morning on Collier Road, about 5 miles northwest of New London. When emergency personnel arrived, they found Court unresponsive and not breathing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sheriff’s department is asking to speak with anyone who would have travelled Collier Road or was in the area in the early morning hours Saturday. Contact the department, or call Waupaca County Crimestoppers at 1-888-258-9955 and remain anonymous.
