Packers announce roster moves

July 24, 2014 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Packers have signed linebacker Korey Jones and released linebacker Shaun Lewis.

The 6’1, 232-pound Jones, is a first year player out of Wyoming.  He initially entered the NFL as a non-drafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals on April 29, 2013, and spent the offseason and training camp with the club before being released on August 25, 2013.  Jones signed with the B.C. Lions in September of 2013.

Lewis has signed with the Packers on June 10, 2014, after participating in Green Bay’s rookie orientation camp in May on a tryout basis.
