August 25, 2014 By WRN Contributor

bpdBeloit police are investigating an apparent homicide on the city’s east side. Captain William Tyler said a 58-year old man is dead and a 30-year old man is in custody. He said officers responded early Monday morning that a homicide had likely occurred in the 2200 hundred block of Sunshine Lane. “It was likely from a domestic-type situation,” Tyler said. “We just doing the investigative follow-up and evidence collection.” There’s no ongoing danger to the community.
