Power wins at Milwaukee Mile

August 18, 2014 By Bill Scott

Will Power captured the ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 at the Milwaukee Mile on Sunday, beating teammate Juan Pablo Montoya to the checkered flag.

The IndyCar points leader earned his 24th career win and third of the season, adding a little breathing room in his pursuit of the season title with two races to go.

Power’s victory ended Ryan Hunter-Reay’s two-year winning streak at the Mile.  Hunter-Reay won the Indianapolis 500, but his championship hopes took a hit after he had to exit after 168 laps with mechanical problems.
