Green Bay Phoenix set to honor the military

The Green Bay Phoenix will open the 2014-15 season at the Resch Center in Green Bay on Saturday against D-2 Illinois-Springfield.  The defending Horizon League regular season champion Phoenix are the preseason favorites to repeat.

Saturday’s game will honor the military with Phoenix players wearing special jersey’s with fallen military’s names on the back.

The game tips off at 3pm Saturday afternoon, with all veterans and military service members receiving free tickets.
