UW-Green Bay senior guard Keifer Sykes was named to the watch list for the 2015 Bob Cousy Collegiate Point Guard of the Year Award.  The award is named after the former Boston Celtics great and recognizes the top point guards in men’s basketball.  It’s the third straight season Sykes has been selected to the watch list.

The candidates will be narrowed to 20 in February and then five by March.  A selection committee, appointed by the Hall of Fame, will review the candidates.

The Committee is made up of college basketball personnel, including members of the media, head coaches, media relations contacts and Hall of Famers.  The winner will be announced on Championship Monday in Indianapolis.

Sykes, who was the Horizon League player of the year as a junior last season, enters this season with 1,482 career points.  He needs 518 to join former standout Tony Bennett as the only two players in program history with 2,000 points.
