Badgers cruise past UW-Milwaukee

MotionW_2ColorThe 5th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers rolled over the UW-Milwaukee Panthers, 93-54, at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Wednesday night.

Frank Kaminsky scored 18 points, Sam Dekker 17 and Nigel Hayes had 13 as the Badgers (9-1) beat the Panthers for the 31st time in 32 meetings between the two schools.

The Badgers shot 65.6% from the field in the second half and led by as many as 45 points.  They scored 46 points in the paint against the Panthers (4-6).

— Bo Ryan is now 330-122 (.730) during his 14 years at Wisconsin, and improved to 14-0 all-time against Milwaukee.

— Ryan is now 33-6 (.846) in the in-state round-robin with Marquette, Milwaukee and Green Bay, capping off a 3-0 sweep this season.

— The Badgers moved to 21-5 away from home over the last two seasons, including a 5-0 mark this season.

— The Badgers improved to 31-1 all-time against Milwaukee, having won 22 straight in the series.  UW is 11-0 in Milwaukee.
