Bucks fall to Mavericks on last second shot

December 4, 2014 By Bill Scott

Milwaukee Bucks logoThe Milwaukee Bucks have won three straight games, but they hadn’t lost three-in-a-row until last night.  Former Bucks guard Monta Ellis hit a fade-away jumper as the buzzer gave the Mavericks a 107-105 win at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Ellis appeared to travel on the play, but this is the NBA where it would appear traveling is frequently allowed, therefore the basket counted and the Bucks found themselves on the losing side.

The Bucks had a 98-90 lead with five minutes left to play and couldn’t hold it.

Tyson Chandler scored 18 points and pulled down 20 rebounds for the Mavericks.

Brandon Knight had 25 points and Khris Middleton came off the bench to score 21 points and grab 8 rebounds for the Bucks who shot 52% for the game in the loss.

The Bucks return to action on Friday night at home against the Miami Heat.
