Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Gerardo Parra has agreed to a one-year, $6.2-million deal Friday with the Milwaukee Brewers, avoiding salary arbitration. Parra was the final player remaining in arbitration with the Brewers. He made $4.85 million last season.
In 46 games with the Brewers, Parra hit .268 with three home runs and 10 RBI. Overall, he hit .261 in 150 games last season with nine homers and 40 RBI.
The Milwaukee Brewers continue to search for relief help but there’s no deals pending at the moment.
The Brewers are specifically looking for left-handed relief help after losing Zach Duke and Tom Gorzelanny in free agency.
