Badger women fall to Iowa in Big Ten hoops

MotionW_2ColorIowa’s Samantha Logic (Racine native) scored a career-high 30 points to lead the 16th ranked Hawkeyes to a 87-75 win over the Wisconsin Badgers at the Kohl Center on Sunday.

The Hawkeyes (19-4, 10-2 Big Ten), led 42-38 at the half, but opened the second half on a 19-2 run to break the game open.

Tessa Cichy had a career-high 20 points for the Badgers (8-14, 4-8).

Marquette

At Indianapolis, Arlesia Morse scored 18 points and Kenisha Bell 17 as Marquette knocked off Butler 77-74 in double overtime.
