Kaminsky in Wooden’s late season top 20

Wisconsin senior Frank Kaminsky was included on the 2015 John R. Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 list.

Kaminsky leads Wisconsin (22-2, 10-1 Big Ten) in points (17.3), rebounds (8.3), assists (58), blocks (38), field goal percentage (.540), 3-point field goal percentage (.400) and is second in steals (19).

Kaminsky recorded his Big Ten-leading ninth double-double of the season during UW’s 65-55 win at Nebraska on Tuesday, tallying 13 points and 12 rebounds, plus four assists and three blocks.

Kaminsky remains the only player in NCAA Division 1 averaging at least 17 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.5 blocks per game.

Kaminsky has reached double figures in 17 straight games and 22 out of his 23 games played this season.

The 39th annual Wooden Award ceremony will take place April 10-12, 2015.
