The University of Wisconsin’s Finance Facilities and Operations Committee approved a ticket price increase for Wisconsin football games on Wednesday. The UW athletic board is next. They have to approve the increase with their next meeting set for Friday.
Wisconsin is looking to raise football ticket prices $3 per game for the upcoming 2015 season. The increase would see prices go to $48 a game.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Wisconsin ranked No. 11 in the Big Ten in football ticket prices in 2014, $45 per game and $315 for the seven-game schedule.
