Three killed in Marathon County crash

Three people have died after a two vehicle crash near Spencer Wednesday afternoon.  Highway 13 was closed south of Spencer for four hours due to a traffic crash.

Marathon County Sheriff’s Department deputies and Wisconsin State Patrol investigators were at the scene reconstructing the accident, which occurred at 5:00 p.m. Marathon County deputies confirm that man from each vehicle was killed in the crash, and a woman died a few hours later at the hospital.

Spencer Fire and EMS, Marshfield Fire and EMS, Ministry Spirit Ambulance, plus highway department staff and the Medical Examiner assisted at the scene between Spencer and Marshfield.
