Whitewater moves into first-place tie in WIAC

February 19, 2015 By Bill Scott

WIAC Logo-Color2nd-ranked UW-Whitewater rolled to a 69-47 win over UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday night.

The Warhawks (21-3, 14-1 WIAC) moved into a tie with 5th ranked UW-Stevens Point, for first place in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.  Stevens Point had the night off.

There’s one-game left for both teams in WIAC play on Saturday.  If both teams win, a coin flip will determine the No. 1 seed in next week’s WIAC Tournament.

Stevens Point (20-4, 14-1) plays at UW-Superior, while Whitewater plays at UW-Stout.
