Authorities continue to investigate Wisconsin’s 10th snowmobile death of the season. Clark County sheriff’s officials say 22-year-old Dylan Denk of Greenwood missed a curve on a trail north of the city.

The machine crested a hill, spun counter-clockwise, and hit a tree. Denk was ejected from his sled. He died at the scene.

The mishap occurred Sunday morning near Highway 73 in the Clark County town of Warner. Officials said high speed was an apparent factor in the mishap.

It’s the second snowmobile death to be reported in the Badger State this month, and the seventh since the start of 2015.
