The Wisconsin women’s basketball team ended a 6-game losing streak, winning their Big Ten regular season finale, 62-56 at Penn State on Sunday in University Park, Pa.

Nicole Bauman poured in 22 points for the Badgers (9-19, 5-13).

With the win, the Badgers are the 11th seed in the Big Ten Tournament.  Wisconsin will play the No. 14-seed, Purdue at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

The Badgers shot 55% from the field in the first half but cooled down in the second (28%).  But the Badgers still managed to hang on for the win.
