Brewers remain winless in the Cactus League

Brewer helmetsThe Milwaukee Brewers fell to 0-5 in Cactus League play, falling to the Kansas City Royals 5-4 in Phoenix on Monday afternoon.  The Royals improved to 6-0, the only unbeaten team in the majors during the exhibition season.

Mike Moustakas had two hits, including a 2-run double for the Royals.

Matt Long and Mat Clark hit solo homers for the Brewers and Jimmy Nelson allowed just one hit in two scoreless innings in his first spring start.

Martin Maldonaldo had an RBI triple for the Brewers and now has four hits in seven at-bats.

The Brewers will face the Cincinnati Reds in Phoenix this afternoon.
