Anthony Davis poured in 43 points, tying a career high to help the New Orleans Pelicans to a 114-103 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.

The Pelicans shot 59% from the field and 60% from three-point range for the game.  Eric Gordon added 16 points and Tyreke Evans 13.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a career-high 29 points for the Bucks, while Michael Carter-Williams poured in 25, his highest-scoring total since being acquired last month in a trade-deadline deal.  Khris Middleton also added 17 points, but the Bucks have dropped 7 of their last 9 games now.

The Bucks did take a 101-100 lead with 3:35 left to play but Davis scored the next eight in a row to help New Orleans close the game on a 14-2 run.

The Bucks are back home Wednesday to host the Orlando Magic.
