Tesha Buck scored 24 points and freshman Allie LeClaire added 17 as the Green Bay Phoenix women knocked off Wright State 86-77 in overtime, laying claim to the Horizon League Tournament championship.

Green Bay (28-4) improved to 13-4 all time in Horizon League Championship games.  They avenged a loss to the Raiders in last years Tournament Championship game.

Buck was named the Tournament’s MVP.  She added 10 rebounds to her 24-point scoring total for Green Bay.  Sam Terry also added 16 points off the bench for the Phoenix, who will be making their 15th appearance in the NCAA Tournament all-time.

In overtime, LeClaire’s fourth three-pointer gave Green Bay a lead they would not relinquish.

Wright State opened up a 27-15 lead at the 8:58 mark of the first half, but Buck scored the first nine points of a 15-0 run to put Green Bay in front 30-27.  The sophomore had 15 points at halftime.

Mehryn Kraker and Kailie Lukan also earned all-tournament team honors for Green Bay as the Phoenix put five players in double figures for the game.

Green Bay will learn its draw for the 2015 NCAA Tournament tonight.
