Wisconsin Badger center Frank Kaminsky has been named the Big Ten Player of the Week.
Kaminsky averaged 22.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game in leading the Badgers to wins over Minnesota and Ohio State.
Kaminsky shot 67,9% (19 of 28) from the field and 83.3 percent (5 of 6) from the free throw line.
Kaminsky currently leads the Big Ten with 10 double-doubles, and averaged 19.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game in conference play.
It’s the sixth career Big Ten Player of the Week honor and fourth of this season.
Kaminsky and the Badgers now get ready for the Big Ten Tournament in Chicago. The Badgers tip-off Friday in the quarterfinals against either Michigan or Illinois.
