Police investigate double homicide in north-central Wisconsin

March 9, 2015 By WRN Contributor

Two individuals were arrested in Indiana after two bodies were found in a Wisconsin home on Sunday.

Captain Terri Hooks says someone found the victims and contacted the Sheriff’s Department. “At approximately 10:40, we received a 911 call. Upon arriving at the scene, we found a deceased adult female and a deceased adult male.”

Investigators were sent to the home, and the Wisconsin Crime Lab was called in. Hooks says it’s unclear exactly when the murders took place.  “We haven’t ascertained yet how long they were actually there.”

The home where the crimes occurred is in the Town of Piehl, south of Three Lakes. So far, deputies are declining to publicly identify the victims or their ages.

Captain Hooks says with the Indiana arrests, the public is out of danger.  “We thank the public for their assistance in giving us any information they may have given us. The public is safe at this time as far as this case is concerned.”

The two suspects will have to stay in Indiana until they can be extradited back to Wisconsin.
