Taylor leaving Marquette

March 19, 2015 By Bill Scott

Junior forward Steve Taylor Jr. announced that he is leaving Marquette and will transfer to another school.  It’s not clear where the 6’7 forward will transfer, but he’ll have to sit out a season if he intends to play at another Division 1 school.

Taylor averaged 5.9 points and 5.0 rebounds a game, while averaging 22.1 minutes.  Taylor started the first 13 games of the season but eventually was relegated to coming off of the bench.

Taylor becomes the fourth player to transfer since Steve Wojciechowski took over at Marquette.

The move gives Marquette three available scholarships for 2015.
