The field is set for today’s WIAA boys and girls state hockey championship games at the Memorial Coliseum in Madison.
The girls hit the ice in Friday afternoon’s semifinals. University School (Co-op) started things off with a convincing
6-2 win over Onalaska (Co-op). That sets up a championship game matchup at 12:10pm today (Saturday) against Hayward, a 1-0 winner over D.C. Everest.
Friday night, the boys semifinal games were played. Superior blanked Cedarburg 3-0 to set up a Saturday afternoon championship game date (2:30 p.m.) with Wausau West. West doubled up Madison Memorial 6-3 in the other semifinal on Friday night.
