LeBron James scored 10 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter to help the Cleveland Cavaliers clinch the Central Division title and the 2-seed in the upcoming Eastern Conference playoffs. The Cavaliers knocked off the Milwaukee Bucks 104-99 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Wednesday night.
Kyrie Irving scored 27 points and Kevin Love added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Cavaliers.
James iced the victory for the Cavs when ht hit a 3-pointer with 14.1 seconds left to play.
Michael Carter-Williams scored 30 points for the Bucks, while Zaza Pachulia added 19 points and 10 rebounds.
The Bucks played without Giannis Antetokounmpo. He was in uniform but benched by coach Jason Kidd, who repeatedly said after the game that it was a coaches decision. Antetokounmpo had started 67 of the 77 games he’s played in this season.
The Bucks are off tonight. They’ll face the New York Knicks in New York on Friday night, still trying to clinch a playoff spot of their own.
