The third weekend in July is setting up to be a huge one for fans of the Green Bay Packers and future hall of famer Brett Favre.

On July 18, Favre will officially be inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame, a ceremony that has already sold out for fans that will watch on the video boards inside Lambeau Field.

The following day, Favre and several former Packer, NFL, and Wisconsin Badger greats will play a charity flag football game at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison at 4 p.m.

Tickets to Brett Favre’s Legends Game will go on sale at 8:30 a.m. on June 3 via UWBadgers.com, at 1-800-GO-BADGERS, or at the UW ticket office at 1440 Monroe St. Tickets are between $34 and $55, with a Family Four Pack available for $112.

While the rosters are not finalized, the list of committed participants is impressive. Former Packers include Javon Walker, Mark Chmura, Frank Winters and Andre Rison, while the team of former NFL players include Donovan McNabb, Roger Craig, Herman Moore, Willie Gault and Anthony Carter. Also, former UW running back and Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne is expected to participate.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Favre 4 Hope Foundation.
