Zach Greinke has always been solid at Miller Park and last night he continued his mastery in Brew Town.
Greinke held Milwaukee to a pair of hits and an un-earned run in 7 2/3 innings, helping the Los Angeles Dodgers knock off the Brewers 8-2. Greinke improved to 5-0 this season and his career record at Miller Park improved to 16-2.
Brewers starter Matt Garza took a 1-0 lead into the sixth inning, but Dodger third baseman Jacob Turner clubbed a three-run home run to give the Dodgers a 3-1 lead.
Garza (2-4, 4.58 ERA) surrendered his sixth home run in six starts this season.
Jimmy Rollins and Adrian Gonzalez clubbed home runs in the 7th inning off of Neal Cotts as the Dodgers pushed their home run total to 42 this season. Brewers pitchers have now given up 37 home runs in 27 games.
Manager Craig Counsell lost his first game as a manager, after winning his first game on Monday.
Game three of the four game series is tonight at Miller Park. Wily Peralta (0-4, 4.35 ERA) shoots for his first win of the season.
