Major League Baseball & the Designated Hitter

June 3, 2015 By Bill Scott

What side do you come down on regarding Major League Baseball’s use of the Designated Hitter?  It’s an age-old argument that will likely go on for some time.

In our first installment of the “Sports Directors”, I discuss the merits of the D.H. with my fellow Learfield Sports Directors in Missouri, Michigan and South Carolina.  We’ll also be joined in the future by Sports Directors from Iowa and Minnesota.

This will be a weekly Sports Round Table feature.  We hope you enjoy.
