Tomahawk coach charged with having sex with student

June 5, 2015 By WRN Contributor

Lincoln County officials have charged a Tomahawk High School coach accused of having sex with a student.

Colton Chase, 23, is a volunteer track coach. He was charged Tuesday with three felony counts of sexual assault of a child by a person who works or volunteers with children.

Tomahawk police chief Al Evans says Chase had sex with the 16-year-old female student three times.

Chase is being held in the Lincoln County jail on a $2,500 cash bond. He’ll back back in court for a preliminary hearing on the charges June 8.
