Badgers secure commitment from top punter

July 2, 2015 By Bill Scott

MotionW_2ColorPunting was an issue for the Wisconsin Badgers last season.  On Wednesday, coach Paul Chryst received an oral commitment from punter Anthony Lotti from West Hall High School in Oakwood, Georgia.

Lotti is considered one of the top punters in the country for the 2016 class.  He becomes the 14th known commitment for Wisconsin’s 2016 class.

Lotti averaged more than 45-yards per punt as a junior.  He was a consensus first-team, all-state punter in Georgia.

Lotti also had offers from Boston College and Air Force.
