Steelers-Packers preseason game time change

July 27, 2015 By Bill Scott

Packers logoThe Pittsburgh Steelers announced their August 23 preseason game against the Green Bay Packers at Heinz Field has been moved from a 7pm kick time to a noon start.

The switch was made because of a conflict with the Pittsburgh Pirates.  The Pirates had their start time against the San Francisco Giants switched from 11:35 a.m. to 7 p.m., to accommodate ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball.

PNC Park and Heinz Field are close in proximity causing the Steelers to make the schedule change.
