The Milwaukee Brewers clubbed four home runs, yet still lost their series opener to the Cleveland Indians 11-6 in Cleveland.
Jonathan Lucroy clubbed two home runs and Ryan Braun and Domingo Santana also went deep for the Brewers. But Wily Peralta lasted a season low 2 2/3 innings and fell to 4-8 on the season.
Peralta was in trouble right from the start, scoring four runs in the first two innings.
Josh Tomlin (2-1) shook off three home runs and stayed around for six innings to earn the victory. Former Brewers farm hand Michael Brantley homered twice for Cleveland. Jason Kipnis, who came in tied for the AL batting lead, had three hits. The Indians top three hitters, Kipnis, Francisco Lindor and Brantley, went a combined 9-for-12 with nine RBI and seven runs.
