The Marquette men’s basketball team opened its four-game summer foreign tour by coming from behind to beat Kaukar Basketball 89-82 in Rome.
Duane Wilson poured in 28 points and freshman Henry Ellenson had 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the way.
The Golden Eagles trailed at the end of each quarter but were able to rally on the strength of a 24-8 run to close out the game.
Junior center Luke Fischer added ten-points and ten-rebounds and sophomore Sandy Cohen added 10 points.
Marquette returns to action Saturday against BC Atletas (Lithuania) in Montecatinit Terme, Italy.
