Badger volleyball team drops Big Ten opener

Motion WThe 16th ranked Wisconsin women’s volleyball team dropped its Big Ten season opener on Wednesday night, falling to No. 1 Penn State 25-21, 25-16, 25-20.

The Nittany Lions improved to 12-0 on the season and has captured 42 straight sets.

The Badgers (8-3, 0-1 Big Ten) dropped their second straight match after falling to Arkansas last weekend.

Wisconsin dropped to 1-24 all-time at Rec. Hall.

Next up, the Badgers return to action Sunday, facing No. 12 Ohio State in Columbus.
