Badger women’s volleyball team blanks Georgia

Motion WThe 11th ranked Wisconsin women’s volleyball team swept Georgia in the Badger Classic at the UW Field House in Madison on Thursday night.  The Badgers defeated the Bulldogs 25-11, 25-6, 25-15 to improve to 5-1 on the season.

Wisconsin hit a season-high .402 (45 kills – 10 errors – 87 total attempts), while Georgia hit just negative .052 (16-21-97), a season-low for a UW opponent.

The Badger Classic continues Friday night with Wisconsin facing Kent State at 7:30 p.m.
