Warhawks come from behind to win

UW-Whitewater Warhawk logoDefending NCAA Division III UW-Whitewater held off top-ranked NAIA power Morningside College 33-30.

The Warhawks needed a late fourth quarterback comeback, driving 75 yards on eight plays for the winning score.  Running back Jordan Ratcliffe capped the drive with an 8-yard touchdown run with just 38-seconds left.  Ratcliffe finished with 193 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries.

The Mustangs scored 16 straight points before the Warhawks game winning drive.

With the win, the Warhawks extended their winning streak to 35 games, improving to three-and-oh on the season.
