For the fifth time this year, a bald eagle has been struck by a vehicle in Lincoln County.
Officials say the accident happened last Thursday. The driver of the vehicle said the bird flew into the car and then rolled into the ditch. The man helped get the bird out of some water and transported it to the Raptor Education Group in Antigo, with the help of the Lincoln County Humane Society.
Veterinarians at the clinic say the bird is resting. It has a broken leg and possible internal injuries.
