The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel published a report on Sunday, detailing the gun and drug charges in February that led to Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Letroy Guion’s three-game suspension to begin the season.

The story also explored earlier domestic violence incidents involving a number of parties, including the mother of his child.

The newspaper attempted to get comments from Guion, coach Mike McCarthy and general manager Ted Thompson but all three declined during the actual reporting of the story.  The newspaper again attempted Monday to speak with Thompson but was denied.

A JS reporter asked Mike McCarthy during his Monday news conference for a comment and the coach had this to say.

Guion returned to the field on October 4th, following his suspension and has played three games since.
