Middleton, Racine Prairie win WIAA girls state golf titles

WIAA logoMiddleton is the Division one W-I-A-A Girls State Golf champion.  The Cardinals came from behind in Tuesday’s second and final round to edge Hartland Arrowhead by one stroke at University Ridge golf course on Verona.

In Division two, first-round leader Racine Prairie hung on to unseat four-time champion Madison Edgewood by four strokes.

Ashley Kukla of Beaver Dam won the individual crown in Division one, defeating Loren Skibba of Middleton by three strokes.

Stanley Wang of Milwaukee Thomas More was the Division two medalist by one stroke over Kayla Thielen of Marinette.
