Badger women fall at home to Drake

Motion WThe Wisconsin Badger women’s basketball team is now one-and-one, after losing at home to Drake, 89-70 on Wednesday night.

The Bulldogs led by 12 at the half, and by as many as 20 in the third quarter.

The Badgers forced 23 Drake turnovers but committed 18 themselves.

Nicole Bauman had 18 points and Dakota Whyte 16 to lead Wisconsin.  Drake had five players in double figures, led by Lizzy Wendell with 20.

The Bulldogs improved to 2-0.
