NCAA Football Playoffs continue today

November 28, 2015 By Bill Scott

NCAA logoUW-Oshkosh and UW-Whitewater are the final two Wisconsin teams still standing in the NCAA Division 3 football playoffs and both are in action in the second round of the playoffs today.

WIAC Champion Oshkosh will host Ohio Northern, after the Titans cruised Saint Scholastic of Duluth 48-0 last week.  Ohio Northern advanced by beating Franklin of Indiana 27-22.

Whitewater, an at-large pick in the tournament, is the defending NCAA Champion.  The Warhawks will face Wheaton College in suburban Chicago today.  Whitewater advanced with a 48-0 win over St. Norbert College last Saturday.

Should both Oshkosh and Whitewater win today, they’ll square off next week in the quarterfinals.
