Panthers fall to Notre Dame in South Bend

Milwaukee Panthers logoThe UW-Milwaukee Panthers seven game win streak dating back to last season come to an end.  The Panthers fell at 18th-ranked Notre Dame 86-78 on Tuesday night.

Milwaukee was down by 20 points with about 12-minutes left, but a 16-to-five run helped them get the final into single digits.

Milwaukee hit 14-of-21 from three-point range.  Akeem Springs matched a career-high with 21 points as the Panthers fell to three-and-one after playing their fourth game in five days.

Demetrius Jackson had 20-points and seven assists for Notre Dame (2-0).
