Marquette rolls to easy win over Maine

MarquetteGoldenEagles2Marquette scored 22 straight points shortly after tipoff and never looked back.   The Golden Eagles pulled out a convincing 104-67 win over Maine on Saturday at the Bradley Center.

The Golden Eagles (6-2) have won five games in a row.

Freshman Henry Ellenson led all scorers with 23 points.  Junior center Luke Fischer added 21 points, including six dunks.

Marquette out-scored Maine 62-28 in the paint.

Marquette hosts San Jose State on Tuesday night.
