November home sales, prices up in Wisconsin

December 21, 2015 By Andrew Beckett

112315WisconsinRealtorsAssociationNovember marked another strong month for home sales and prices in Wisconsin.

A report from the Wisconsin Realtors Association shows sales are on pace to end the year at their highest level in a decade. WRA economist Dave Clark said it was a “solid November,” with members selling about 4,800 homes at a median price of $150,000. Both figures are up 3.4 percent from a year ago.

Realtors sold more than 71,000 homes during the first 11 months of the year, which is up 11.3 percent from last year. The group expects sales to top 75,000 by the end of the year, which would be the most sold since the 78,000 sales recorded in 2005.
